Astronauts Memorial |
Visible from Hwy 405 and accessible through the entrance to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. The 'Space Mirror' is a National Memorial designed to honor the 16 astronauts who have given their lives for United States space exploration; their names are engraved in the 70,400 lb polished black granite disk, which rotates to mirror the movements of the sun, lighting the names of the astronauts.
