Sonoma County Museum

Founded in 1985, the mission of the Sonoma County Museum is to provide cultural experiences for the enrichment, enjoyment and education of Sonoma County residents and visitors through the preservation of collections and the presentation of exhibitions and programs.

The museum is a restored post office. Features include exhibits of photographs, paintings, and other items relating to the history and culture of Sonoma County. Programs and lectures are offered from time to time. The museum is closed Mondays and Tuesdays during the year.
