William S. Hart County Park and Museum

The 265-acre estate of silent film star William S. Hart has been made into a county park and museum. Hart's home, which sits on a hill at the end of a winding nature trail, is filled with Western art and original furnishings. The park also offers a large picnic area and numerous trails. It has its own herd of bison as well.

The park is open daily except New Years Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. The home is open Wednesday through Sunday in summer, and weekends the rest of the year.

One can reach the park by driving 1.7 miles NW of Hwy 14 on San Fernando Road.
