William R. Hearst Memorial State Beach

The beach is located near the historic town of San Simeon along Highway 1 and gives visitors the opportunity to hike, fish and beachcomb. This protected cove also offers visitors pier fishing and deep-sea fishing from chartered boats. Ocean kayaking is also popular. Picnic tables, barbecue grills and restrooms are available.

The beach is wheelchair accessible.

The beach is located directly across Highway 1 from Hearst Castle. The beach is limited to day use only from dawn to sunset.
