Inn at Schoolhouse Creek

The Inn at Schoolhouse Creek has offered lodging to visitors since the 1930's. Located on eight acres of beautiful gardens, meadow and forest, the Inn was once a part of a large coastal ranch and still reminds you of those earlier times.
Each cottage has an ocean view and private bath, all have fireplaces and decks and some have kitchens. Comfortable and charming, each is decorated individually cottage style with comfy beds, good lighting and quality furnishings. A Hot Tub is located at the top of the meadow with a panoramic ocean view.
The Inn offers privacy and a carefree atmosphere where you can enjoy your vacation on your own schedule. The lovely old Ledford home, built in 1862 with redwood coffered ceilings and paneled walls provides a comfortable lounge where guests can curl up by the fireplace with a book or game. Indulge in afternoon snacks on our ocean view front porch. The village of Mendocino, with it's many galleries, restaurants and shops is close by.
