Occupying a 1232-acre campus, the university is often referred to as simply "Berkeley." Major features on the campus include a 34-acre botanical garden, the 307-foot Campanile at the center of campus with 61-bell carillon, the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory above campus on Cyclotron Road, the Lawrence Hall of Science, the Pacific Film Archive, the Phoebe Anderson Hearst Museum of Anthropology, and the university art museum.
