Twentynine Palms California

Twentynine Palms derives its name from the life-giving waters of the lush oasis where 29 native California Fan Palms grew along the Pinto Mountain fault. The city of Twentynine Palms was incorporated March 23, 1987. The desert is a wonderful place to enjoy the outdoors and spend time participating in recreational activities. Many desert visitors go to the desert to camp and hike.

Twentynine Palms is located in San Bernardino Count east of San Bernadino between Barstow and Blythe along Highway 62 near the Joshua Tree National Forest.

Twentynine Palms is part of the Riverside-San Bernardino, California metro area.
