Travel Town Museum |
This outdoor museum of transportation is located on the north side of Griffith Park. It features team locomotive and other early rail equipment. Indoor exhibits include wagons, old automobiles and Los Angeles firefighting equipment from the period 1869 to 1940. A miniature train circles the area.
Open daily except Christmas. Admission is free but donations appreciated. There is a charge for the train ride.
