Sutter Home Winery |
Established in 1890, Sutter Home has been owned since 1947 by the Trinchero family. Sutter Home produces White Zinfandel, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery also produces a line of alcohol free wines sold under the Sutter Home Free brand name.
The Sutter Home Victorian and gardens are landmarks in Napa Valley. Visitors may stroll through the gardens which feature over 800 varieties of plant life. Sutter Home's visitors' center, housed in the original winery building, is reminiscent of a 19th century country store featuring local gourmet food items, complimentary tasting and specialty gift items.
