The gardens at Sunset's headquarters have recently been renovated and are available for touring. The gardens are open for a self-guided walking tour 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays. The flowerbeds are replanted at least three times a year and there are more than 300 kinds of shrubs, trees, vines, ground covers, annuals, and perennials in the garden at any given time. Springtime is an especially colorful time to visit.
The headquarters of Sunset Magazine, are also publishers of books and other products. Well known for its coverage of gardens and landscaping, the Sunset gardens are divided into regions depicting the areas of the Western United States that the magazine covers.
The headquarters is closed weekends and holidays.
