Strybing Arboretum

In Golden Gate Park

More than 7000 species of plants from around the world are contained within the arboretum's 70 acres. There are demonstration gardens, a Mediterranean collection, a New World Cloud Forest collection, the Garden of Fragrance for the visually impaired and the Moonviewing Pavilion with an adjacent waterfall. Strybing Arboretum and Botanical Gardens are open daily, 365 days a year. The gardens open weekdays at 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and weekends and holidays 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Admission to the arboretum is free of charge. Free-guided walks through the grounds are given daily at 1:30 p.m.
