Sebastopol California

The area first known inhabitants were the native Miwok and Pomo peoples. The town of Sebastopol formed in the 1850s with a U.S. post office and as a small trade center for the farmers in the surrounding agricultural region.

Residents of Sebastopol can enjoy the attractions of the San Francisco and the Bay Area and retreat to the small town feel of Sebastopol.

Sebastopol is located just north of San Francisco between Healdsburg and Santa Rosa along Highway 116 near Lake Berryessa and the Pacific Ocean.
