Sacramento Southern Railroad Excursions

The [sacrament] Southern Railroad is open every weekend in April through September. Guests can climb aboard a train of vintage passenger coaches and open-air gondolas for a six-mile, 40 minute roundtrip train ride along the Sacramento River, pulled by a real steam locomotive.

Departures are on the hour from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
