San Dimas California |
The City of San Dimas covers 15 square miles in eastern Greater Los Angeles, and is approximately 30 miles east of Los Angeles. San Dimas has a Western theme seen throughout the town. This theme includes wooden sidewalks in the downtown area and an integrated network of equestrian trails.
San Dimas was incorporated in 1960. With the completion of the Foothill and Orange Freeways, the city has seen an increase in population and land values which accompanied the freeway expansion.
San Dimas is located northwest of Pomona and Ontario on Highway 30. San Dimas is part of the Los Angeles-Long Beach, California metro area.
