Salmon Viewing Plaza |
The plaza is located at Diversion Dam on the Sacramento River. Underwater television cameras monitor the fish ladders. TV viewing of salmon may best be observed from September through November from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The plaza has exhibits about salmon as well as camping, picnicking and boat-launching facilities. Nearby is the Sacramento River Discovery Center. Phone 530-527-3043 in the off-season.
