Ruth Lake rests in a serene valley surrounded by forested hills. This lovely lake offers sailing and fishing away from crowds of people. Two nearby airports make this lake and surrounding area easily accessible to folks with small planes. You can catch rainbow trout, catfish, small mouth and largemouth bass year-round. Water skiing and swimming is another pleasure to enjoy in the Ruth area. Two events to look forward to are the annual Ruth Rodeo and Ruth's Summer Festival, which draw crowds from all over the country and coastal areas.
