RustRidge Ranch & Winery |
RustRidge Ranch and Winery is situated along the eastern edge of the Napa Valley in the picturesque Chiles Valley, 1000 feet above the valley floor.
The vineyard was planted in 1975. In 1985 the Meyer family began producing estate bottled Chardonnay, Riesling, Zinfandel and Cabernet from a large converted hay barn located alongside the vineyard.
The tasting room, in the center of the winery, allows guest to view the 3000 case operation as they sip the RustRidge wines.
Formerly a thoroughbred horse and Black Angus cattle ranch, RustRidge Ranch was named for a covered ridge behind the winery that gives off a rust hue in the late afternoon sun.
