The George C. Page Museum of La Brea Discoveries exhibits reconstructed fossils of such ice-age animals as mammoths, wolves, birds of prey and saber-tooth tigers. Visitors can observe while fossils are cleaned, identified, and catalogued in the paleontology laboratory.
The museum is open daily except Mondays, New Years Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Admission includes a tour of the Rancho La Brea tar pits, which are among the world's richest sources of ice-age fossils.
