Dunsmuir Historic Estate designed by San Francisco architect, J. Eugene Freeman, is a Neoclassical-Revival piece of architecture built in 1899. The 37-room mansion features a Tiffany-style dome, wood paneled public rooms, 10 fireplaces and inlaid parquet floors within its 16,224 sq ft. The mansion and the surrounding meadows crate a spectacular backdrop for a variety of educational, cultural and entertainment events throughout the year. Dunsmuir's Gift Shop is open during special events and tours. It features unique, quality items reflecting the elegance of the Estate.
