Miller Children's Hospital |
With nearly 200 inpatient beds, 500 physicians, 1,200 employees, the latest technology and a variety of inpatient and outpatient treatment centers, Miller Children?s is a full-service children's hospital and health system. Named for benefactors Earl and Loraine Miller, the hospital was established in 1970 by Long Beach Memorial Medical Center in recognition that, as hospital patients, children often have very different needs and requirements than adults.
Miller Children?s provides a complete range of primary care and specialty care for children of all ages, including newborns, infants, pre-schoolers, school-aged children, teenagers and young adults.
While most of patients come from the Greater Long Beach area, northwest Orange County and southwest Los Angeles County, they also receive referrals from medical professionals and other hospitals around the county.
