VacaValley Hospital changed from a dream into a reality on July 1, 1987, when the staff opened its doors to the public for the first time. VacaValley Hospital is a 50-bed, non-profit hospital providing a wide range of medical services to the residents of Vacaville and the surrounding communities. The hospital has a 24-hour Emergency Service, 44 medical-surgical beds, a six-bed intensive care unit, two surgery suites, a laboratory, pharmacy, and a fully-equipped radiology department, including a computerized tomography scanner (CT scan).
VacaValley Hospital is the sister facility of NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield. Both are operated by the non-profit, community-based NorthBay Healthcare.
