Kaiser Permanente s Bellflower Medical Center is a full-service medical center that provides several specialty programs and tertiary services for other Kaiser Permanente medical centers.
The 352-bed medical center includes one of the Southern California Region s largest NICUs and state-of-the-art surgical facilities. Nearly 300 staff physicians represent all major specialties and almost all subspecialties.
Supported by medical offices in Downey, Whittier, and Cudahy, Bellflower Medical Center serves approximately 248,000 Kaiser Permanente members. The medical center is part of the Member Service Area that includes the Baldwin Park Medical Center and the Harbor City Medical Center.
The Bellflower Medical Center is one of only 11 hospitals in Southern California to have received Accreditation with Commendation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), the highest level of accreditation awarded by the organization.
