Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital |
Founded in 1966 to serve the growing community of Goleta Valley, the hospital today is licensed for 122 acute-care beds, admits nearly 2,000 patients a year, sees more than 14,000 emergency visits, welcomes more than 300 newborns to its designated *Baby Friendly* birth center, and is recognized for its comprehensive Breast Care Center. The hospital joined forces with Cottage Health System in 1996 and opened a Subacute unit in 1998.
