As the Tri-Valley community grew, so did ValleyCare Health System and in 1991 ValleyCare Medical Center in Pleasanton opened. Today, ValleyCare has a total of 186 beds and a medical staff of over 250, offering a wide array of inpatient and outpatient services that are at a world-class level. The facilities have expanded to include multiple buildings in Pleasanton and Livermore, and the new ValleyCare Outpatient Clinic at Tracy shows that the service area continues to grow.
