Huntington East Valley Hospital |
East Valley Hospital Medical Center (EVHMC) first opened its doors in 1958. The Hospital programs are responsive to the healthcare and educational needs of East San Gabriel Valley communities. In 1999, EVHMC added the Huntington Imaging Center, featuring the first open-air MRI in the San Gabriel Valley.
More than 7,100 households in EVHMC's five-city primary service area are categorized as living under the poverty level, and EVHMC plays a crucial role in meeting the needs of this underserved population. All patients are provided with the highest quality medical care, regardless of their ability to pay. The hospital also participates in the health fair portion of the annual Great Glendora Festival. Other projects EVHMC participates in include the Azusa Family Resource Center and Azusa Pacific University's Neighborhood Wellness Center.
