Sequoia Hospital has cared for residents of the San Mateo County communities it serves for over 50 years. Through the years, Sequoia has grown into an accredited 421-bed not-for-profit hospital offering a full range of medical, surgical and specialty programs. Sequoia became an affiliate of CHW in 1996. Today, the hospital's 575 physicians deliver high-quality health care utilizing the latest advancements in medical technology. In addition to the specialties featured below, Sequoia offers innovative programs for the treatment of diabetes and sleep disorders, as well as the Pain Treatment Clinic for the relief of persistent, chronic pain that fails to respond to conventional treatment. Every year, Sequoia contributes financial support and services to benefit the local community.
