Parkview Community Hospital |
Growth and community involvement will continue to be prominent themes at Parkview Community Hospital Medical Center with 43 years of service to the Riverside community.
Founded by a group of local physicians who were passionate about serving the city?s expanding population, Parkview?s original 50-bed hospital opened on November 3, 1958. Over the years, Parkview has expanded to 193 beds, but the real growth has been in the number of services Parkview offers the community and in the quality of those services.
In 1998, Parkview released its Quality Report Card, which showed it to be the leader in efficiency and effectiveness among several area hospitals. Also in 1998, Parkview began a series of public forums to educate the community and seek their input regarding healthcare issues facing the region and the community.
