Bay Area Sportfishers

The Bay Area Sportfishers is a service organization that annually hosts children for the South Bay Fishing in the City event, a program to teach inner city youth ecology, biology, conservation and how to fish, jointly sponsored with the Department of Fish and Game, County of Santa Clara and City of San Jose. It strives to foster and maintain a high standard of sportsmanship. Scheduled monthly fishing and picnicking activities provide a wide assortment of fun for the experienced fisherperson, first timers and families.
