Visitors to Long Barn are in the perfect location to take a day trip to Yosemite Village. Guests and residents can also visit in late spring, summer and autumn, the incredible Mono Lake and the ghost town of Bodie. A short 30 to 45 minute drive will also take you to 3 of the best examples of California's historic Gold Rush communities. Sonora, Jamestown and Columbia all offer wonderful visitor opportunities.
In the winter the Central Sierra offers Dodge Ridge where several winter activities take place. Bear Valley and Badger Pass also provide an excellent skiing experience.
Pinecrest Lake is just minutes away, where you can enjoy beach and picnic areas, as well as paddleboat opportunities.
This small community is located north of Mi Wuk Village on Highway 108.
