Built in 1853, the family home always served as a hospitality house for weary travelers, and became known as Little River Inn in 1939 when, the third generation turned bedrooms into lodging and opened their parlor and dining room to the public. Thosetraditions of family hospitality and pride are practiced to this day. Located in a rural seascape, yet just two miles south of Historic Mendocino, the Inn offers awe-inspiring views of the Pacific Ocean from every venue. Lodging accomodations have spectacular ocean views and many have the luxurious amenities of fireplaces and jacuzzi tubs. The Restaurant serves scrumptious country meals for both breakfast and dinner and Ole's Whale Watch Bar is filled with congenial company and historic memorabilia. Recreational facilities present challenging and scenic golf and tennis play while the Third Court Salon and Day Spa offers pampering pleasures for full relaxation: massages, body treatments, facials, nails, and hair styling.
