Southern California Bible College and Seminary is perched high upon a hill overlooking the city of El Cajon, in San Diego County CA.
No more than 40 minutes from the Pacific Ocean, Tijuana Mexico, or the beautiful mountains to our east. They are in one of the few places in the world that you can play in the snow, then drive across the county to the white sand beaches, all in the same day.
Along with typical curricula, SCBCS offers the Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and the Arabic Language Program, which consists of twenty-eight weeks of intensive study of the Arabic language and Middle Eastern culture and humanities. The focus of the course is on Modern Standard Arabic (MSA). In addition to MSA, an optional area specific dialect, is offered. The three dialects that can be taught at the institute are Gulf, Egyptian, and Levantine. In addition, field trips to mosques, Arabic churches, restaurants and grocery stores add a richness of the Program.
