Palomar College |
Palomar College is a public two-year community college. Founded in 1946, it is one of 107 colleges in the California Community Colleges system.
The Palomar campus is located approximately 30 miles north of San Diego on a 200-acre campus. Its eight major education centers serve a district covering 2,555 square miles. These eight centers are Escondido, Rancho Penasquitos, Poway, Fallbrook, Ramona, Pauma Valley, Borrego Springs and on Camp Pendleton.
The five academic divisions at Palomar are: Arts and Languages; Human Arts and Sciences; Mathematics and the Natural and Health Sciences; Media, Business, and Community Services; and Vocational Technology.
Palomar is located in San Marcos, San Diego County, CA, and has an enrollment of about 27,000.
