It all started in 1911 with the founding of Los Angeles College of Chiropractic just 16 years after the development of modern chiropractic care.
The summer of 2000 brought a significant change to the campus as the Board of Regents voted to transition LACC into the Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCU), which became official on August 17. With that transition, Los Angeles College of Chiropractic was placed under the SCU umbrella along with a new institution the College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
As health care evolves, SCU will remain dedicated to being at the forefront developing new alternative health care programs and continuing its reputation for innovation.
Los Angeles College of Chiropractic is located in Whittier, Los Angeles County, and has a total enrollment of about 800.
