The College of Alameda campus was opened in June 1970 in response to the burgeoning demand for post-secondary education.
Their programs lead to either the Associate of Arts or Associate of Science or to any of a number of Certificates of Completion and include: Aviation Maintenance Technology, Automotive Technology, CIS Certificate/Degree, Truck and Diesel Mechanics, Geography and the Title III Learning Lab (Basic skills courses: Computer Lab, Reading, Writing, Math and English as a Second Language Program).
Online Courses are available as well, and include Physical Geography and Introduction to Computers.
