Holbrooke Hotel |
This hotel has 28 tastefully decorated rooms in a historic hotel established in 1851. Guests can enjoy private baths, decorated in the classic Victorian tradition. Conference facilities from 40-200 people are available. Some smoking rooms are available. There are two fireplaces in two rooms, and there are four handicap rooms.
The Holbrooke dates back to 1851 but burned in the great Grass Valley fire of 1855. The present structure was built in 1862 and includes the Golden Gate Saloon. Four U.S. Presidents have stayed at the historic Holbrooke.
