Gardens at Heather Farm |
Established in 1968, the gardens are a living museum, a wildlife habitat, an outdoor classroom, and a beautiful place for everyone to enjoy. The center has more than ten specialty gardens a meadow garden and sensory, rose, rock, and children's adventure gardens, connected by walkways. The gardens demonstrate low-maintenance, water conserving and environmentally friendly pest management methods, as well as stunning landscape techniques and designs.
Admission to Heather Farm is free and guided tours are $2.00and require reservations. The museum is open daily during daylight hours.
