Hayward Area Historical Society Museum

The Hayward Area Society Museum is the site of Hayward's original post office. The museum houses historic tools and utensils, photographs, family albums, early maps, antique toys and memorabilia, and a 1923 fire engine. The exhibits change up to three times a year. Museum also includes a research library and a gift shop. The Hayward Area Historical Society Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. The museum is closed Sundays and holidays. Nominal admission.
