Harry A. Merlo State Recreation Area

Adjacent to Humboldt Lagoons State Park and bordering on a lagoon, Harry A. Merlo State Recreation Area is a popular fishing site. The park covers 830 acres and small boats are allowed. The park is located 32 miles north of Eureka on Highway 101.
