Griffith Park |
This vast park at the east end of the Santa Monica Mountains, just west of the Golden State Freeway Interstate 5, is perhaps the largest urban municipal park in the United States. The park was donated by Griffith J. Griffith, a Welsh miner who earned his fortune in gold.
