Coyote Point Museum

for Environmental Education

Situated in Coyote Point Park, the exhibits of the Environmental Hall are on four descending levels of ramps, which symbolize the eastward flow of water from the Santa Cruz Mountains to San Francisco Bay and its westward flow to the Pacific. Displays include environmental dioramas, a working beehive and other insect colonies. Interactive demonstration stations stress man's impact on nature. Picnicking is permitted.

Fun for the entire family, the Musuem's four interconnected area provide an introduction to the natural history of the Bay Area. These include: The Environmental Hall, a Wildlife Habitat, an Aviary and Themed Gardens. The museum is closed Mondays, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. No admission is charged on the first Wednesday of the month.
