Chaffee Zoological Gardens

Mammals, birds, and reptiles live in the middle of dense vegetation and winding pathways. The Reptile House, controlled by computers, varies the temperature, humidity and light to mimic the natural environments of individual species. South American plants and animals share the rain forest habitat. Open daily. Admission is charged.

Featuring over 700 animals, 220 different species and Ross Laird's Winged Wonders Bird Show. New to the Gardens is a beautiful forest habitat for orangutans.
