Casa Peralta |
Casa Peralta is a National Register historic landmark that serves as a museum for the City of San Leandro. Built in 1901, the casa has been restored to its appearance from the 1920's. Spanish tiles inside the fence relate to the story of Don Quixote. The Main House is a two-story, wood-frame structure with a partial basement. It houses various historical exhibits. The Guest House/Tower is a two-story, wood-frame structure with a four-level tower, which serves as a caretaker's quarters.
Casa Peralta is open Friday through Monday except for holidays. Admission is by donation.
