Housed in a neoclassical building that originally served as the Carnegie Library, the museums permanent collection is dominated by California artists of the 20th century. Exhibits include fine art, decorative art, and photography, particularly work by Ventura County artists.
Closed Monday through Wednesday, New Years, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and periodically between exhibits.
