Anderson Galleries

The Anderson Galleries represents museum quality 19th and 20th century paintings by noted and historically important European artists. Outstanding Impressionist, Post-impressionist, Barbizon School, Salon, Academic and Genre works are shown throughout the year. It exhibits the paintings by lesser-known European and American artists active between 1800 and 1930. Collectibles include a wide range of subjects including: rural landscapes, cityscapes, history and allegorical pictures, scenes of romance, family life, animals, portraits and still-lifes all of which are regularly featured in the gallery. Lawrence Alma-Tadema, Eugene Boudin, William Adolphe Bouguereau, Camille Corot, and Charles Francois Daubigny are among the artists.
