Bitter Creek National Wildlife Refuge

This 14,000 acre refuge provides traditional feeding and roosting habitat for the California condor, San Joaquin kit fox, golden eagle, Southern bald eagle, and American peregrine falcon. Public use is limited because of the sensitive situation of the California condor. The refuge can be viewed from the Cerro Noroeste Road.
