Beaulieu Vineyard |
Georges de Latour founded Beaulieu Vineyard in 1900, establishing his vineyards and winery in Rutherford. The world class wines he developed can still be tasted in the Beaulieu Vineyard Visitor Center in Rutherford. Beaulieu Vineyard was an early pioneer in developing premium Chardonnay and Pinot Noir Vineyards in the Carneros district. This effort culminated in the official designation of Carneros as a separate and unique appellation.
The Beaulieu Visitor Center welcomes guests with complimentary tasting and scheduled tours of the historic production facilities daily and is closed only during major holidays. Samples of reserve wines are also available for a small fee in the Georges de Latour Reserve tasting room.
