Asian Art Museum of San Francisco |
Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, in Golden Gate Park, is the largest museum in the western world devoted exclusively to the arts and cultures of Asia. World-class permanent collections represent over 40 Asia countries spanning 6,000 years of history. The museum regularly organizes major international exhibitions and presents frequent educational programs, cultural performances and docent tours highlighting Asian arts and cultures.
The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. with extended evening hours every Thursday until 9:00 p.m.
